Research interests

My research is focused on the broad field of non-equilibrium many-body physics, in particular the simulation of many-body quantum systems, quantum computation and machine learning. My main expertise is in numerical methods known as tensor networks – a variational ansatz for many-body wavefunctions that capture states with a limited amount of entanglement.
